TumaConnect — Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy

Completely Prohibited Items

These items are not allowed under any circumstances on TumaConnect deliveries.

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Weapons: guns, knives, blades, stun guns
• Ammunition or firearm accessories
• Explosives or fireworks
• Flammable liquids or gases (petrol, gas cylinders, lighter fluid)
• Toxic chemicals or poisons
• Corrosive materials (battery acid, industrial cleaners)
• Unlabelled liquids or powders
• Human remains or biological samples
• Live animals or insects
• Cash hidden inside parcels
• Counterfeit goods or stolen property

Restricted Items (Allowed With Conditions)

These items may be allowed only if declared truthfully and packaged correctly.

• Electronics (phones, laptops, tablets) – must be in good working condition and declared
• Food items that are sealed, dry and non-perishable
• Medicines — sealed, labelled, legal and not temperature sensitive
• Clothing & shoes — clean and packed properly
• Home accessories — must be protected if fragile

Items Allowed With Strict Packaging

• Fragile items — must be wrapped with bubble wrap and protected
• Perfumes & sprays — maximum 100ml, sealed and declared
• Power banks — declared and within airline capacity limits

Misrepresentation & Hidden Items

If a sender hides a prohibited item inside a parcel or misrepresents contents, TumaConnect will take strict action:

• Immediate account suspension
• Permanent ban from TumaConnect
• Traveller withdrawal from booking
• Possible reporting to authorities

Traveller Rights & Sender Responsibilities

• Travellers: must inspect the parcel in front of the sender, may refuse suspicious parcels, and must report any concerns to TumaConnect support.
• Senders: must declare contents truthfully, respect weight limits, avoid last-minute hidden items, and ensure safe secure packaging.

Reporting & Enforcement

• TumaConnect may suspend or terminate accounts, cancel bookings, and withhold payment during investigations.
• We may provide chat logs and evidence to authorities when required by law.

Agreement

By using TumaConnect, all users agree to follow this Prohibited Items Policy and accept that safety is our top priority.
